Barron and Dr. Katrina Damon have over 35 years of collective experience in the areas of technology, volunteerism, partnership development, program development project management, training, leadership development, fundraising, grant writing, coaching, and philanthropy. Barron and Katrina have been Philanthropist for many years even before they identified themselves as philanthropist. We have been giving to causes that we care about for many years.
Barron is a founding member of A Legacy of Tradition, a Giving Circle focused on Collective Impact and strategic giving. Barron also served on philanthropic boards and served on committees at local foundations.
Katrina has also served on several community Boards and is a founding member of Survivor Friendly, an organization that supports and encourages cancer survivors through gift bags and emotional support.
In 2017 Barron and Katrina took their love of philanthropy a step further and created the BK Damon Fund through Fidelity Charitable. They continue to support several non-profits and provide scholarships to and business grants to young people going to college or starting a new business. The newly formed BK Damon Foundation is a long time vision of theirs to use their Time, Talents, and Treasures in a more strategic and impactful way.
